Internship/Working Student Business Development (m/w/d)

In our business model, we support partners from business, politics, science and society. Our innovation projects involve numerous tasks, and we would like to strengthen our team to successfully complete them.

Therefore, we are now hiring an intern or working student in the area of Business Development.

The work in Business Development can be divided into the following central areas of responsibility:

  • Supporting our project management in the successful implementation of our innovation projects
  • Supporting our sales process in order to win new customers and partners from business and politics
  • Preparation and execution of workshops with universities and colleges around the world

Business Development Manager (m/w/d)

In order to accompany even more customers on their way to an innovative future in the future, we are now hiring a Business Development Manager. The acquisition of new customers and partners from politics and business are essential to fulfil our mission.

This field of activity can be broken down into the following key areas of responsibility:

  • In our B2B business model, we win and support large companies for the implementation of strategic innovation projects.
  • There is much more to customer acquisition than classic cold calling
  • As Business Development Manager you identify innovation potentials of established companies and organizations and are responsible for the entire sales process
  • You organize and coordinate the identification of suitable contact persons, conduct the approach via channels validated by us and thus continuously build up your own sales funnel, in which you convince more and more new companies for innovation projects with ekipa.
  • As the first point of contact for new customers, you will work with our consulting team to identify pain points, develop customized concepts and pitch them to decision-makers.
  • In addition, you will conduct workshops with new and existing customers in order to better understand the structures and culture and to develop individual offers.
  • But that’s not all: In the course of our international expansion, you will take the lead in identifying relevant markets together with the management, provide support in strategic decision-making, and build up your own innovation network on an international level.

  • In order to be able to speak at eye level with decision makers of large companies and organizations in the innovation and digitalization sector, you bring self-confidence, rhetorical skills and know-how about modern technologies and trend topics with you

  • You are more than a “salesperson”: you are able to penetrate the structures of large companies and develop visions for new business models and digital transformation together with them

Business Development Manager (focus Academic Clients) (m/w/d)

Enabling academia-industry collaborations is a key focus of ours – bringing together the best of two worlds to co-create a better tomorrow. We strive for a global innovation ecosystem between the industry world, the academic world, and the political sphere. To master this endeavour, we are hiring a Business Development Manager focusing on our academic clients.

In this role, your tasks will comprise the following:

  • You will identify suitable academic contacts and approach them via our validated channels, building a funnel that efficiently grows curricular integrations
  • You will manage institutional contacts and all activities related to institutions within our CRM database, you will automate CRM processes and track KPIs
  • You will maintain relationships with established higher education institutional partners
  • You will conduct workshops (design thinking, pitching) and seminars in-person and virtually at universities and manage curricular integrations independently
  • You will work on diverse strategic topics such as on the departmental strategy with the Head of University Relations, as well as on innovation program specific and marketing strategies to grow integrations

To be successful in this role, the following attributes and skills are helpful:

  • You have already completed your bachelor’s degree
  • You have a can-do attitude and pay great attention to detail to constantly detect and successfully pursue optimization opportunities
  • You are passionate for using your creative freedom to proactively shape the department
  • Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to inspire experienced professors and successfully lead innovation workshops with students
